David Cameron's just lost a terminally ill child.

Both seem to have softened public opinion around them.

A delightful little boy with a severe disability who was never likely to live long has died. A terrible tragedy for his family, and very sad also for those who knew him (George Osborne, for example) and cared for him (the NHS staff). As far as cancelling PMQs is concerned, it was not wrong to cancel it, and it would not have been wrong to let it happen in Cameron's absence. Brown's condolences seemed sincere, but he was no doubt pleased also to have an excuse not to do PMQs for one week. The outpouring of emotion in the media is over the top: this was not a little boy who was known to the public. The postings of those who heap abuse on those who react to this story differently from them are thoroughly odious. People should be allowed to feel grief for the death of someone they did not know, of course, but it should not be compulsory.

If you'd read what I said instead of going off on your own little hate-the-unbelievers rant you will see that I was suggesting Hague do the honours at PMQ. I 'get' that it will be tough for Cameron but that's no excuse to abandon the one chance we get every week (when he's not hiding in some foreign country) to quiz up the absolute cunt who has destroyed the UK's economy.

As for my profound cynicism as to the sincerity of the Labour abandonment of PMQ I see Mandelson has confirmed that my distrust in the Labour fuckers was not misplaced.

And no, sad as it is for Cameron, the death of a child does not put the running of the entire UK 'in perspective'. The show must go on. There's another 60 million of us whose lives have been and are continually being ruined on a daily basis. Folk driven to suicide by the despair this fucking gang of Labour arseholes have wrought on our economy through sheer fucking criminal negligence.
